Q. How do I schedule a lesson or workshop?

A. To schedule a lesson or workshop, please email Sophie at sophie@littlebirdsewing.com or call or text her at 603-667-8034.

Q. What if i have to cancel?

A. Things happen and sometimes a cancellation is unavoidable. Please contact Sophie as soon as you know you need to cancel so that plans can be made to reschedule. For pre-paid workshops, cancellations are only accepted up to a week before the scheduled workshop and you will be refunded in full. Any later than that and only 50% will be refunded with the remainder going towards class costs (time and supplies), unless we are able to fill your spot with someone else. Q.What kind of payment do you accept?

A. I can take cash, checks, Venmo or PayPal.

Q. Do you do alterations?

A. Nope! This is a teaching studio! I can teach you how to do them though! :)

Q. Do you do custom work?

A. If you are interested in having custom work done, you are welcome to email me to inquire. I don’t often take on custom jobs unless it is something really interesting!

Q. Where should i park?

A. You can park on the street on the opposite side to the building, as well as in the parking lot to the side and back of the building.

Q. Where should I get supplies?

A. There are lots of wonderful local places to get supplies! You can go to Stash Fabric VT (in Burlington) for wonderful eco-friendly garment fabrics. Rags and Riches, though mainly for upholstery, has a good selection of silks that are great for costumes and historical clothing. Firecracker Fabrics is another great little fabric store for online fabric shopping. Feel free to contact Sophie if you have any questions about where to go and what to get! The right pattern, fabric, and tools make all the difference!

Q. Where are you located?

A. The studio is located in Williston, VT at 28 Day Lane, Suite 10.
