It's officially sweater season so let's make a new one! Join me in making this super cute and versatile cardigan by True Bias. Choose from cropped to mid-length, and a variety of fabrics and button combos to make this garment uniquely yours! Learn new skills including working with knit fabrics, making button-holes, and sewing on buttons!

This class is recommended for confident beginners and up. If you have taken the Sewing 101 class, or have the equivalent experience, you should be ok! If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at sophie@littlebirdsewing.com

You can purchase both the pattern and the fabric (and buttons too!) at Stash Fabric in Burlington, VT. Robin will help you get everything you need! (And she has some awesome new sweater knits that are perfect for this!) If you are purchasing your pattern online, please make sure to have your pattern printed out and ready to go for class. If you need help figuring out your size, just let me know! Always base it on your measurements - it won't line up with regular "fashion" sizes, so don't worry!

For class, you must bring your pattern (either the paper pattern or pdf one printed out and ready to be cut), your fabric (pre-washed), and matching thread. Tools and machines are available to use at the studio, though you are welcome to bring your own machine if you prefer sewing on it!

Things happen and sometimes a cancellation is unavoidable. Please contact Sophie as soon as you know you need to cancel so that plans can be made to reschedule. For pre-paid workshops, cancellations are only accepted up to a week before the scheduled workshop and you will be refunded in full. Any later than that and only 50% will be refunded with the remainder going towards class costs (time and supplies), unless we are able to fill your spot with someone else. Please don’t come to class sick - we will work with you to reschedule! Thanks so much!
