Let's make some underwear! In this fun 3hr session, we'll cut out and fully assemble one pair of undies! We will use the Megan Neilson Acacia Underwear Pattern. This is a great way to use up small pieces of knit fabric and make your own perfectly fit underwear! Skills include sewing with knits and putting on fold-over elastic, lingerie elastic, and/or a fold-over knit waistband.

This class is for confident beginners and up! Underwear can be a little bit fiddly, but as long as you are patient and willing to do some trials before producing the perfect pair, you will be fine! Once you get the hang of manipulating the elastic and working with knits, you'll be making undies no sweat! Please email sophie@littlebirdsewing.com if you have any questions or concerns.

You will need stretchy knit fabric and fold-over elastic, amounts based on your size. Find your size by referencing the pattern - you should base this on your actual measurements! If the sizes don't work for you, please let me know so that I can work with you to adjust the pattern before class. Please purchase a kit with all the materials at Stash Fabric in Burlington VT before class! It will have everything you need :D

Things happen and sometimes a cancellation is unavoidable. Please contact Sophie as soon as you know you need to cancel so that plans can be made to reschedule. For pre-paid workshops, cancellations are only accepted up to a week before the scheduled workshop and you will be refunded in full. Any later than that and only 50% will be refunded with the remainder going towards class costs (time and supplies), unless we are able to fill your spot with someone else.
