Come one come all and bring in your pants! From taking in the waist, doing a hem, to repairing a hole, come learn all about doing alterations to pants! This includes jeans, khakis, trousers, dress pants, leggings...and whatever other pants you might want to alter!

For class, please bring a pair of pants or two (or three even?). We will hold fittings to look at fit and alteration possibilities, and discuss where to go from there. If you are working on sewing a pair of pants, you are also welcome to bring a mock-up, or bring those pants that aren't quite finished that you have some questions about! After discussing everyone's alterations/fit questions, etc., we should have a bit of time to work on doing those changes, so come ready to sew! Basic sewing tools, thread, and machines are provided, though you're welcome to bring anything you think you might want or need for the session.

Students must have basic sewing skills (taken Sewing 101 or have the equivalent experience). If you have any questions or concerns about this, just email sophie@littlebirdsewing.com. Beginners are welcome! We just won't have time to go over using the sewing machine, so make sure that if you are brand new to either take Sewing 101 or a private lesson beforehand. Thanks!

Things happen and sometimes a cancellation is unavoidable. Please contact Sophie as soon as you know you need to cancel so that plans can be made to reschedule. For pre-paid workshops, cancellations are only accepted up to a week before the scheduled workshop and you will be refunded in full. Any later than that and only 50% will be refunded with the remainder going towards class costs (time and supplies), unless we are able to fill your spot with someone else.
