Kids Sewing 101: Let's Make a Tote Bag! December 12th and 19th, 3:30 - 5:30pm
Learn how to use a sewing machine and make a small project! This reversible tote bag is fun and easy to make - a perfect first project! Students will learn all of the basics of using a sewing machine, cutting out a project, and sewing it together, in a fun and safe environment!
This course is two, 2hr sessions, so please make sure that your child is able to focus for a longer stretch of time - we will take breaks though, so no worries there! All materials are provided! *If a student wishes to bring their own fabric, they are more than welcome as long as it is a cotton, non-stretch, quilting weight fabric. If you bring your own you will need 1/2 yard outer fabric and 1/2 yard inner fabric. Please email sophie@littlebirdsewing.com with any questions or concerns.
This is a kids class - ages 9-18. This is a complete beginner course, so no experience in sewing is necessary!
Things happen and sometimes a cancellation is unavoidable. Please contact Sophie as soon as you know you need to cancel so that plans can be made to reschedule. For pre-paid workshops, cancellations are only accepted up to a week before the scheduled workshop and you will be refunded in full. Any later than that and only 50% will be refunded with the remainder going towards class costs (time and supplies), unless we are able to fill your spot with someone else.
PLEASE DO NOT COME TO CLASS SICK! We will do our best to reschedule you in case of illness! :)
