Learn how to make the LB Pullover by Paper Theory Patterns! This quick and easy pullover top is a perfect layer for winter or spring. In this 5 hour workshop, we will cut out and stitch the whole shirt! This is a great beginner project and a perfect first foray into garment-making! *We will take a short break at 12:30 for lunch. You can either bring lunch with you, or go to one of the local cafes in the Soda Plant.

Make sure to come to class with your pattern printed out, and cut out (just the paper). You can get your pattern printed at Stash Fabric (highly recommend this method vs. taping together at home). To choose your size, go by your measurements, specifically your bust measurement. If you need any help determining size, just email sophie@littlebirdsewing.com.

ou will also need to bring fabric and matching thread. All other tools are at the studio for all to use :) - There is some thread at the studio that you can use, but color match is not a guarantee. You can also purchase thread the day of if needed.

You must have taken Sewing 101 or have the equivalent experience - this is a beginner friendly class, but you should be somewhat comfortable setting up and using the sewing machine.

This is an adult class for students 14+ (Younger students considered with instructor permission).

Appropriate fabrics are a non-stretch, woven fabric such as cotton flannel, linen, or cotton/linen blend. You are also welcome to choose a not-to-stretchy knit fabric if you would like - such as a sweatshirt fleece, fleece, or heavier-weight knit. You will need approximately 2 yards of 45” wide fabric, or 1.5 yards of 60” wide fabric. If you need any assistance, please email Sophie. If the sizes included in the pattern will not work for you (if it’s too small or too large) please email Sophie ahead of time to arrange a time to do a quick pattern consult - we can re-size the pattern as needed so no worries!

Please cancel with at least one weeks notice so that we can hopefully fill your spot. Any cancellations after that time will be refunded based on ability to fill your spot. If you need to cancel due to illness or family emergency, we will do our best to reschedule, and otherwise provide a full refund. Thank you so much for your understanding!
