Kids Weekly Sewing Group Fall Session 2 - Starts October 15th

Kids Weekly Sewing Group Fall Session 2 - Starts October 15th
Kids Weekly Sewing Group is a chance for kids to work on the project of their choice. This class occurs weekly for the months of October and November and we will meet 5 times. This class is for students 9yrs to 8th grade, with some exceptions depending on experience and maturity-level. Sometimes younger high school students take this series if they don’t mind being with a younger group, but high school students may attend the adult classes as well. (Please email sophie@littlebirdsewing.com with questions and concerns).
Students should have taken the Sewing 101 class, or have equivalent experience. If you have any questions, just email sophie@littlebirdsewing.com
*There are regularly offered Kids Sewing 101 sessions. You can also choose to do a private session instead! :) Also, if this class isn’t too full, I’m happy to incorporate intro to sewing into it so if you are a beginner, so please definitely reach out!
Before the class starts, please email Sophie to check in about possible projects that are appropriate for the student’s level. She can also help you figure out supplies. Students need to come to the first class with all of their supplies (pattern, fabric, thread).
Class sessions are on:
October 15th, and 29th (no class October 22nd)
November 5th, 12th, and 19th
Class is from 3:30 - 5:30pm
Class is located at 266 Pine St. in studio 107 at the Soda Plant. There is free and plentiful parking outside the soda plant (both in front of the building and in the back if needed). Please come in through the main entrance (to the right of Haymaker bakery). Go down the hall and turn right, go all the way to the end. We are located under the Dad Guild, next to Pitchfork Pickle. Little Bird shares a space with Stash Fabric - please come right on in!
You do not need a sewing machine or tools. You must bring your own supplies (fabric, pattern, etc.). Supplies can be gathered at Stash Fabric, The Makery, and/or Yankee Pride (local fabric and craft supply options).
Things happen and sometimes a cancellation is unavoidable. Please contact Sophie as soon as you know you need to cancel so that plans can be made to reschedule. For pre-paid workshops, cancellations are only accepted up to a week before the scheduled workshop and you will be refunded in full. Any later than that and only 50% will be refunded with the remainder going towards class costs (time and supplies), unless we are able to fill your spot with someone else. Please don’t come to class sick - we will work with you to reschedule! Thanks so much!
